Terms of Service
Last Updated: December 1, 2025
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Rizqly.app ("the Service"). By accessing or using our website and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. No Financial Advice
The Service is for informational and organizational purposes only.
Rizqly.app is not a financial adviser, legal adviser, tax professional, or investment broker. The information provided by the Service does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. You should consult with a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions. We are not responsible for any financial losses or outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.
3. Data Responsibility & Storage
Your data responsibility depends on your chosen plan:
- Basic Plan (Local Storage): Your data is stored exclusively on your local device (in the browser's IndexedDB). Rizqly.app has no access to this data and cannot recover it if you clear your browser cache, uninstall the app, or lose your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the Export feature.
- Standard & Premium Plans (Cloud Sync): Your data is encrypted and synced to our servers (via Google Firebase). While we implement industry-standard backup procedures, we do not guarantee against data loss due to catastrophic server failure or force majeure.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
A. Payment Processing
We use secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) to handle all financial transactions. Rizqly.app does not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. By choosing a paid plan, you authorize our third-party processor to charge your payment method for the agreed-upon amount. Your payment information is subject to the privacy policy and terms of service of the payment processor.
B. Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (whether monthly or annually) unless you cancel it before the renewal date. The renewal charge will be the same as your initial subscription price unless we notify you of a rate change in advance. You authorize us to automatically charge the applicable fee to your payment method on file upon each renewal.
C. "Pay What Is Fair" Model
For plans utilizing our "Pay What Is Fair" model, you agree to be billed the specific amount you selected on a recurring basis. While you have the flexibility to choose your price initially, that chosen price becomes your recurring subscription rate until you choose to change it or cancel.
D. Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the 'Billing' page in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that time.
- Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for technical errors or within a short grace period after an unintended renewal, at our sole discretion.
E. Termination of Cloud Services
Upon expiration of a paid plan or the 30-day free trial, the following schedule applies:
- Immediate: Access to multi-device cloud synchronization is suspended. The application enters "Local-Only" mode.
- +7 Days: The "Grace Period" ends. Cloud data is no longer guaranteed to be "live."
- +37 Days: The "Privacy Buffer" ends. Rizqly will execute an automated, irreversible deletion of all cloud-hosted financial records associated with your account.
Note: It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure at least one local device has been opened and synced during the first 7 days post-expiry to preserve data locally.
5. Third-Party Services (Plaid)
For Premium users, we utilize Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to connect your bank accounts.
By using this feature, you grant Rizqly.app and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
- Interfere with or damage the operation of the Service through viruses, bots, or other malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RIZQLY.APP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL RIZQLY.APP, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
